Genie in a bottle ? What ?
This bottle of Clean Slate is a first aid kit in one.. I say this from my own personal experience of outcomes.
We have been sanding floors and lacquering them. They stink and I have had enough of the toxic smell and how badly it affects my olfactory .
Having to sand back a floor which turned to alligator skin flooring due to weather changes between coats and being close to the ground and absorbing moisture from the earth, has been hell fro my nose.
When sanding back we are literally sanding polyurethane and trying to contain to one room is a nightmare whilst also working in it. Then re lacquering it is even worse. Changing the brand of lacquer has not helped nor has it helped that the water based lacquer does not wear well at all.
Result is a I cant sleep from the smell, the weather is cooling at night here on the escarpment and we must leave windows open to let the smell escape.
Needless to say I had a day of a migraine yesterday and my sinuses were thru the roof but it was more about the damage of inhaling this toxic fumes. Last night I slept in on the sofa away from the smell on night 2. Much easier to sleep but the pain in my sinus was horrid still at waking at 4.30 am this morning.
Making myself a fresh chai late' the true Indian way, I gulped the Clean Slate and then decided to place a drop in my nostril which was the side hurting the most.
( I am not advocating anyone else to do this ) I will do as I need to using nutraceuticals to help my body as my intuition guides me. In this case it was one drop.
By the time I had finished cooking my chai and sat down to write, I realised the pain in my sinuses had gone and my aching head had also cleared up.
I so love Clean Slate and all the magical solutions I find when issues arise.
